Who provides the dipping items?

Chocolate Elegance currently does not provide dipping items.  Some facilities may require that they provide the items for you, some will allow you to bring them in to their facility.  We will be glad to arrange these items for you during the setup of the fountain.  you also need to provide plates and/or napkins for your items.  We will supply the skewers for dipping.

 

What type of items can you dip into the chocolate fountain?

Popular items include fresh fruit - strawberries, kiwi, pineapple, bananas, grapes, apples, etc.  Also popular are maraschino cherries, caramels, marshmallows, rice krispie treats, cream puffs, pretzels and biscotti.  Items that crumble are not recommended as the crumbs can clog the fountain and cause it to malfunction.

 

Can the fountain be used outside?

We do not recommend outside use.  Nebraska climate does not allow for smooth running of the fountain.  Another deterrent is pesky insects attracted to the wonderful aroma of the chocolate!

 

What happens to the leftover chocolate?

You are welcome to keep any leftover chocolate but you will need to provide a sealable container in which to transport it, otherwise we will discard it.
